Tom Barr

I moved to the Yarra Valley in 2020 and have been involved with SSL Don Valley since 2022. I’m passionate about sports, especially football and golf, as well as travel, learning and anything that gets me outdoors. In my current role as an Outdoor Specialist, I’m fortunate to combine these passions while supporting and guiding others through outdoor experiences.

Since entering the outdoor industry in 2018, I’ve been involved in a range of activities including white-water rafting, hiking, Mountain bike riding, and sea kayaking. In 2023, I took a step further by pursuing a path in teaching, driven by a genuine love for learning and a desire to grow both personally and professionally.

My approach to life is simple: Have fun and keep learning. If I can help students tap into that same mindset, then I’m doing something right.
