Nicki Bosen

I grew up in the beautiful Yarra Valley and enjoy sharing this magnificent area with staff and students at SSL Don Valley.

I am a very proud mum of three amazing adult children, who are just my absolute world, and along with my husband and about 6 other random ‘20 something’ year olds, live in a very noisy, crazy, enjoyable home.

Coming to work each day, with 45 teenagers is something I truly love. I have a passion for working with teenagers and am often referred to as their ‘SSL Mum’.

Prior to working at SSL, I worked at Australia’s only trauma-informed all-girls Aboriginal boarding school, which was often challenging but so rewarding. I received lots of training on trauma and student wellbeing, and had a first-hand insight into working with adolescents with a wide range of varying wellbeing needs. I am grateful that I can use many of these skills in my role at SSL, and even though I am the Office Manager, I am lucky enough to be able to work closely with the students as well.
