I believe that an integral part of working in education is encouraging students to develop into free-thinking human beings, who can impart purpose and direction in their lives. SSL gives them this exact opportunity which is why I love working here as an Overnight Supervisor.

My name is Laura and I have spent much of my life living and working in the Yarra Valley and currently reside on a beautiful 7-acre property in Hoddles Creek. I adore nature, animals, and all things related to the natural world. I am passionate about working with young people and connecting with them on a genuine level.

After completing my Secondary Education at Little Yarra Steiner School, I travelled overseas and had many rewarding cultural experiences. I then went on to do an Advanced Diploma in Steiner Education which has helped me navigate my way working with young people. I feel very grateful to have such a unique job which can be fun, challenging, exciting, but mostly rewarding and look forward to working with new groups of students each term.
