This is my second year at Don Valley campus, and I absolutely love working here. I am surrounded daily by great people, in both our students and the staff team. My teaching career began as a Primary school teacher for several years, before moving up to the Tiwi Islands to teach Year 9 and 10 Tiwi girls for just over three years. My husband Matt (another teacher at DVC) and I returned to the Yarra Valley to have our son in 2021 and I have returned to teaching in a part-time capacity.

All these experiences have helped shape and develop me into the educator I am today. I am very student focused and enjoy working with my students on their journey to discovering their strengths, capabilities and just how far they can challenge themselves. I look forward to working with new groups each term, as they learn and interact with different people and environments around them.

Sport, travelling, and art are key interests which feature heavily in my life outside of work.
